One of the interesting developments in Hobart is the ability of business’s to blatantly disregard an obvious demand for bike parking outside their front doors or back passageways by sticking up ‘NO BICYCLE’ parking signs. Why, when there is plenty of space to provide a hoop or two do large corporations invest the time, effort and resources into erecting this kind of offensive propaganda. Last time I checked the law books a rail that fronts onto a public footpath is anyone bike park whether there is a sign up or not.
