Bicycle Tasmania is looking at streamlining its online presence.
We’re looking at folding up the blog and having Bike of the Week etc just show up as a small section on the main Bicycle Tasmania website, then archive off.
Or would we be better posting photos and comments on the Bicycle Tasmania Facebook page? Maybe that would be easier for people to follow and comment?
Comments please…
I’ve been enjoying the blog posts. I subscribe to it using a RSS feed on my iPad so get all the posts that way and it means I don’t miss articles like I may do on Facebook. But having said that, you have to balance the effort vs how many people read the articles … Either way I think you’ve done a great job to date.
The BT FB page is only for those on FB who follow BT, the blog is accessible to everyone and leads people to the BT webpage. Keep the FB page, post all that goes up on FB on the blog and link to that on the FB page.
I love the blog and browse it more than the website. Maybe a more conversational website that does both??
Please keep the blog going. Do not use FB and do not want to.
I have a love/hate relationship with FB but I do find it easy to follow, having everything in once place instead of searching for blogs everywhere.
Being a non-Facebookian, I’d prefer less integration with that system. Email and RSS subscription works fine for me.
